Card Types
Knight
14 in the deck (most common)
Move the robber to any hex and steal one random resource from an adjacent player. Playing 3 or more Knight cards earns you the Largest Army bonus (2 VP). If another player plays more knights, the bonus transfers to them.
Road Building
2 in the deck
Immediately place 2 roads for free. Great for racing toward the Longest Road bonus or reaching a key settlement location before your opponents.
Year of Plenty
2 in the deck
Take any 2 resources of your choice from the bank. You can take 2 of the same resource or 1 each of two different resources. Useful for completing a build or trading.
Monopoly
2 in the deck
Name one resource type. Every other player must give you all of their cards of that resource. Can be devastating if timed correctly — watch what resources your opponents are hoarding!
Victory Point
5 in the deck
Worth 1 victory point. These are kept secret and automatically count toward your score. They are only revealed when you reach the winning VP total. Opponents won't know you have them!
