What we use

SettleUp's website (settleupgame.com) uses essential browser storage to make the site work. With your permission, we also use Google Analytics to understand site usage and measure whether premium-plan links are useful. We do not set advertising cookies on this website or use your analytics choice to personalize advertising.

The inventory below covers the marketing site and its consent-controlled analytics. The browser game at /play also uses essential local application storage for sign-in, language, game preferences, launch access, referrals, and safety choices such as blocked players. Those records stay on your device until the related setting is changed, the account is signed out, or site data is cleared; the marketing analytics tag is not part of the web game.

Analytics provider

Google LLC processes consented website analytics on our behalf. Google may process data in the United States and other countries under its applicable data-transfer safeguards. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy and Google Analytics cookie documentation.

The _ga cookies may remain for up to two years as shown above. Separately, our GA4 property keeps user-level and event-level data for two months, with reset-on-new-activity disabled. That setting does not affect standard aggregated reports.

Your analytics choice

Google Analytics is blocked by default. Its tag is not requested and its cookies are not set unless you select Accept analytics. Selecting Reject analytics leaves the tag blocked. Accept and reject are available as equally direct choices.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through Privacy Choices in the footer. Withdrawing disables further analytics collection and removes Google Analytics cookies that this site can access. Your new choice replaces the prior record and remains valid for six months. Recording the anonymous server receipt is best-effort and never delays your choice or turns analytics on; if it fails, the browser still applies your choice immediately.

Cookies in the SettleUp mobile app

The mobile app does not use browser cookies. The Google AdMob SDK (used for in-app ads on free accounts) follows your iOS App Tracking Transparency (ATT) preferences and may use device identifiers for ad measurement when you've granted permission. You can revoke ATT permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy → Tracking, and you can manage in-app ad preferences from Settings → Privacy Settings → Ad Privacy Settings.

Controlling cookies

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Doing so will sign you out of SettleUp on this site and may break sign-in. You can use Privacy Choices in the footer to change analytics consent, or clear settleup_cookie_consent_v2 from browser local storage to make the first-visit choices appear again.
